The College of Communication and Journalism's official holiday greeting for the 2024 holiday season.
Each year, graphic design students enrolled in the Publication Design course are invited to create original holiday card concepts for various colleges across South Dakota State University. This particular design was selected by the College of Communication and Journalism as their official holiday greeting for the 2025 season.
A key design requirement was the incorporation of SDSU’s official blue and yellow color palette. The final design creatively embraced these colors to maintain brand consistency while still conveying a festive tone. The layout balances seasonal elements with thoughtful typography and composition, aligning with the college’s identity and mission.
The completed holiday card was distributed to faculty, staff, important alumni, and partners as a warm seasonal message from the college.
